Joy
What is joy?
A careless whim, a fleeting dance,
A chasing after life's romance?
Does joy abide in shallow places,
Bellies full but hollow faces?
Is joy found in the easy life,
The happiness of lacking strife?
Or is joy from a deeper place
Where sorrow meets amazing grace?
Does joy mean lacking nothing sought,
Or does it come from anguish fought?
Can joy endure when dreams, undone,
Direct us to the Holy One?
It is with great joy that we introduce Alisa (A-lee-sa, meaning "joy") Jane (meaning "gift from God"). She was born October 29, 2015 at 3:47 AM weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces, 20.5 inches long. Her life has already led her family on the road to joy deep and abiding, hopeful and eternal. We rejoice in what God has done for us today! To read more on the beginning of Alisa's story, click here.
